I used to work with docscanner because that app had a great batch scanning process. But that app went to crap because they kept changing the way it worked. So I thought maybe this app was going to be similar, given that its feature set is really a carbon copy of docscanner. Even some of the dialogs were the same, even to the point where they forgot to skin them to blend in with piikki so they looked exactly like the ones in docscanner.
In one word, piikki is useless to you if you scan more than one thing every few days. If youre serious about scanning receipts, the multiple step process will have you wasting so much time youre better off using a flatbead scanner.
On top of this, it is not compatible with iOS 8. That goes to show how much time the developer puts into the product and its viability. iOS developers have access to beta versions of upcoming releases for free from the beginning. Its been more than 4 months since the developer could have updated the code.
Take it from me, spend your money elsewhere.
